FAQ

Fair questions.

Will my email sound like it was written by a machine?

No. Speak Email starts with your words and follows the tone you chose. The email says it came from a voice note, and your reader can hear the original.

What does my reader get?

A normal email from your own address. It starts with a short note and a link to your recording, then shares the main points in writing.

What happens if my recording is too short or fails?

You get a clear message before anything is sent. A failed note does not use a credit.

Where can I record?

The web app works on desktop and mobile. A Chrome extension is coming soon, so you will be able to record without leaving your inbox.

Who can listen to my recordings?

Anyone with the note’s link can listen. The page shows only that note. Your reader does not need an account.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. A new account gets 3 free voice notes. You do not need a card, and the notes do not expire.

Is the Chrome extension ready?

Not yet. It is coming soon. You can vote for it on this page, and use the web app with any inbox today.

Ready when you are

Your next email is easier said.

Say it once, on a walk or between meetings. It lands in the inbox written, with your voice one link away.
